OK, take it from me, there's only one way to do Costco: you must pay for the Executive or Business membership, or else you can't shop until 11am — which is ridiculous and breaks up the day. The place doesn't open even for Business members until 10am, which is bad enough, but hey, it's the best you can do.
Anyway, so it opens at 10am, but if you go at 9:50am, there will already be a long line outside, so don't do it; it's an exercise in frustration. Here's the trick: Show up at 10:10 and you can waltz right in. No crowds, no lines, no hassles. Smooth shopping. Trust me on this.
