I have a pet peeve, and it's a bit quirky. I don't like seeing incorrect grammar use in public. And no, I will make no apologies for it.
For years I have cringed as I waited in an express line with a sign overhead reading "10 items or less." AARRGGHHH. Like nails on a chalkboard to me, people.
So imagine my delight when our newly remodeled local VONS grocery store put up THIS sign:
Thank you, Corporate Headquarters of Safeway! You have made my day!
