Bronchitis!
Yes, I’m sick again. Bronchitis this time. UGH. It was a sinus infection last month, which I got over using the groovy chinese herbs I like, but then I got busy with relatives in town and work (you know, I have a job, now), and lo and behold, I’m sick again. Big, yucky, hacking coughs right in th middle of talking to people. Lovely.
I’m trying the herbs again — chinese herbs — for both the sinus and the chest yuckiness. I’m going to give it the full shot — about another week — and if I’m still sick, I guess I’ll give in and head for the good old Western medicine. Whatever it takes to get healthy. I am ready to be healthy!!!!

Oh my god, I got bronchitis this year, too. It was the first time I’ve ever had it. I deluded myself into thinking I had contracted some “special illness” at the Obama inauguration (which involved staying up 36 hours straight and standing, walking, and huddling in freezing temperatures with millions of people) only to discover upon my return to Portland that EVERYONE had this not-so-special illness.
If I ever get it again, I’m taking your cue for antibiotics!
