Cleaning Out Clutter

I am admitting to a dirty little secret: I’m behind on my filing. By months. And here’s the pile to prove it. Overflowing!! overflowing basketI need a better system — or a system at all would be good, I guess. What I do now is pile things up and “get around to it” once in a while. But it’s not working, clearly. And I do want it to.

So I started hacking away through the forest of the mess. I got it into distinct piles –sorted pilesto be filed, to be filedto be entered in quicken, receipts for quickento be dealt with in the very near future, to do nowbusiness cards and small documents to be entered in my contacts file, biz cardsand the shred pile. shred pileOK, now what?
