I’m excited to see it finally because I really enjoyed the first Night at the Museum, and because I missed this one when it came out in theaters last May (please see earlier post about 25th college reunion). 
The nice folks at 20th Century Fox who are putting out the dvd invited me to the Fox lot to hear Director Shawn Levy talk about the the extras that come with a dvd release, and in this case that includes some extended scenes, some deleted scenes, and some featurettes: a behind-the-scenes documentary and a famous viral Jonas Brothers video called “Cherub Bootcamp”, which is quite hilarious. Who knew it was so much work to be cherubic? 
Plus, they’re introducing FoxPop, which is an app you can download on your computer or iPhone and have an interactive viewing experience with the dvd. And the Blu-Ray version will have a scavenger hunt game built in. Both are pretty cool extras. Especially for those of us who may be forced to watch this dvd with our kids over and over again.
And Yes, this is me with a monkey on my shoulder.
