How to Make a Dutch Baby with a Sony Handycam
Actually, I use my Sony Handycam to make all kids of things, from recipes to celebrity videos to videos about my MakeBetter Challenge weight loss journey. I love this camera for its size, ease of use, high-quality picture and sound, and of course fot its projector feature as well.
A Dutch Baby is like a cross between a pancake and a popover and it’s been a family favorite for many, many years. My father used to make and it my kids get to have it made by me, nowadays.
I shot the video how-to so you can see step-by-step what to do and just how easy it is. But I’ll also include the recipe here just in case.
Hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 or 1/2 stick butter
bacon, cooked & chopped or crumbled
Syrup
Steps:
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix eggs, add milk & flour and mix well. Melt butter in a cast iron pan. Pur in Dutch Baby mixture and place in the oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Garnish with bacon & serve with syrup.

Thanks to Sony for providing me the Sony Handycam HDR-PJ260 8.9 megapixel camera as part of the Sony VIP Mom Blogger program. The Dutch Baby was all me.

Thank you SO much for posting this! Your dad taught my mom how to make this as well, and the holidays are never complete without it. It’s one of my favorite meals.
